"My brother is stationed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. He was scheduled to come home for leave on January 14, 2012 but our parents believed he was coming home January 18, 2012. He decided he wanted to surprise both of them, so the plan went into action. In our city, the Rochester Amerks are the hockey team to watch and Jerry followed them through Twitter to keep up on the games. He decided to e-mail them to see if they could help us out, as there was a game the night he was coming home. They were more then helpful. Jerry created a video and that's what my parents thought was happening that night. Our whole family and tons of friends came out to watch, since they all knew what was really going to happen. Our sister picked him up at the airport and dropped him off minutes before my parents arrived at the arena. The video was supposed to play in the first period around the 10 minute mark. When that passed, we were all antsy, but when the video finally played. It was awesome. Four months of planning was totally worth it. The video really does not need a description, just watch and see the excitement in our parents faces! My mom still cries when she re-watches this video. Thanks to the Amerks for the awesome footage and all the help!" -Rebecca Cappon
