Oriana Pawlyk is Military.com’s air warfare reporter and covers personnel trends, investigations, defense technology and Air Force operations around the globe.
Previously as a reporter for Air Force Times, she wrote about air operations in the Middle East and Europe, as well as uniforms, cyber, Guard/Reserve, physical training, technology and crime. She also edited the Military Times Early Bird Brief newsletter, compiling the top national security stories driving the day. She began her military news career as the deputy news editor at the publication.
Pawlyk has also served as a Paul Miller Washington Reporting Fellow hosted by the National Press Foundation. She graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she received a bachelor’s in Journalism and English Literature.
