Simplify your life by using tech! Wait! Don’t go anywhere. Stay with me. It might seem ridiculous to use tech for a simpler life. After all, the more technology we have in our lives, the more confusing things appear to get. However, that’s not true if you know what tech to use and how to use it to your advantage. So if you want some awesome ways to simplify your life, put your fear of tech away and read on. It’s good stuff, I promise.

The Right Tech Can Simplify Your Life

Now that I’m in my last trimester, life has gotten much more challenging. I’ve been having a lot of pain over the course of the pregnancy, but the last three months have been particularly bad. Especially because I have multiple uterine fibroids on top of growing pains and round ligament pain. I’ve actually been prescribed as much bed rest as possible by my doctor. That makes things difficult. I have a blog. I have commitments. I have a lot of stuff to take care of! My beloved husband does the best he can, but he can’t do everything I need. Over the past few months, I’ve learned how to use the right tech to simplify my life, and it’s made things much easier.

Food Delivery Apps

One of my favorite ways to make life easier on myself is to use food delivery apps. Whether you want groceries or just take out, food delivery apps can save you a ton of time and make life much, much easier on you. Apps like PeaPod can help to make grocery shopping easy and much less of a hassle, while apps like GrubHub are perfect for when you want some great takeout, but you don’t want to go out to get it!

Photoshop Suite

If you’re a blogger or photographer, a subscription to Photoshop is the key to making life easier and more productive. Now that I am required to be in bed as much as possible, I take full advantage of my cloud capabilities to make life simpler. I can edit photos that I take on my phone and then upload them to the cloud and continue with what I need to do on my laptop.

Travel Apps

We love to travel, and when the baby is finally here, and I’m all recovered, we plan on doing tons of traveling again with a baby in tow! Traveling is an excellent way to expand the horizons of both parents and children. To simplify life whenever on the go, use apps like GasBuddy to find the best prices on gas, and OpenTable to help with dining while you’re on the road.

Simplify Your Life With AFI*

Deployment homecoming

AFI (Armed Forces Insurance) has been there for my husband and me for as long as he’s been in the military, and it’s been there for all military branches since 1887. It was originally formed and is still led by former military leaders who understand the challenges that come with military service and life, and their online account management services can be accessed from your home PC or on the go with your smartphone or tablet!

These online services make it easier than ever to manage insurance and everything that goes with it for the home, business, car, renter, and more. They cover everything, and they do it all with the specific needs of military members in mind. I love that because we’re about to welcome a new member into our military family!
